Can you please edit out the ads for the paid subscription for episodes released to paid subscribers? It’s kind of annoying to pay $8/mo only to get asked to do the thing you’re already doing a few times a week. Also I echo others in saying, no bleeps on the paid feed please. We are adults, we can handle it. Bleeping makes the show feel very corporate, which is exactly what it should not be.
Hey! With free episodes there isn’t a way to publish separate episodes for paid and free subscribers. As a paid subscriber, you have access to the videos, which have no ads and are not bleeped. I know that’s not a perfect solution, but you should be able to just listen to the audio through the Substack app if you like.
That’s disappointing. I listen to all my podcasts through a third party client and am not going to change apps for a single podcast (no offense). I would encourage you to discuss with Substack about this. Patreon has private feeds for supporters and creators there put out ad free episodes all the time to their supporters.
There was a reddit/social media meme some years ago about how monkeys open bananas “from the bottom” because it’s more efficient or something and ever since then, I would assume many 18-29 year olds open theirs the same way (not me of course)

I will look into this!
Thanks!
