His constant refrain is that the sample size is too small to conclude anything, and yet his job (and the point of your podcast) is to organize, identify, and discuss political trends (which requires some level of conclusion!). We all exist in the real world, not the classroom, so we’re not going to find R^2 of .7 or .9 except for in the most banal and obvious sets of questions. He also didn’t read his co-debater’s work, nor Nate’s, nor the Stanford article, so what did he bring to the discussion about WAR? A great big nothing burger.
