I'm curious how we rectify broadly conservatism often leans isolationist, and fundamentally doesn't have / consider others. It is very easy to remain happy pretending / keeping your only focus on life on your direct areas of influence. I get it life's hard, but if you don't think outside yourself it feels super easy to live a happier life if you don't care too much about your actions and reprecussions.
