It is tough for me when people like you, who I like, try to cover Trump as if he were a normal and sane person. How can you not mention the Robert Mueller post? Don’t you think that was worth a mention when discussing the polls? It may have been before you left for Japan, fine, but definitely should have been mentioned with regard to polls that came out right after that.

May I be the first to ask you, no, beg you, with your record of what happens when you leave town, please never leave again?

Just a minor point...

"But anyway, OK, so we might be invading. We're on pause for energy infrastructure. It's not popular. And life goes on."

While I understand that the zeitgeist is "America First" and Americans are conditioned from a young age to only really think about other Americans, the "and life goes on" part is untrue for many Iranians who have been killed in these pointless attacks, not to mention the many more who are injured or traumatised.

US gas prices temporarily climbing to, oh, way less than half of ordinary European gas prices seems like it *should* be less of a story than "America and Israel are doing war crimes and murdering large numbers of brown people. Again."

Welcome back Galen! I hope you had a lovely trip. Loved today's episode but one thing you all missed that I think is not just a novelty story but that President Trump, the First Lady, and Baron all voted by mail for the election that flipped Democrat. He did this while pushing the Save Act and railing against vote-by-mail. I also found, if the data is correct, is that Republicans took the time to come out and vote for a Democrat in this Special Election.
